The culinary styles of top chefs and culinary experts from around the world will be featured at the BB&T Charleston Food + Wine Festival.
The purpose for the BB&T Charleston Food + Wine Festival is to highlight and celebrate Charleston's extraordinary culinary history and culture.
Culinary Village
Expanded and enhanced, the Culinary Village features the best of the culinary world and provides a one-of-a-kind tasting and savory experience. Designated the official hub for the Festival, the Culinary Village main feature are the two Grand Tasting Tents filled with 70+ companies featuring food and wine tastings and interactive activities.
We are thrilled to announce that critically-acclaimed chef/restaurateur, award-winning cookbook author and Food Network television personality Bobby Flay will be the headlining celebrity chef this year. Festival guests will have 3 different chances to see Chef Flay in action and one lucky person will have the ultimate experience of cooking with him on stage.
We are proud to announce our 2009 signature charity, MUSC Children's Hospital. This year we will partner with MUSC to raise both awareness and money for the Children's Hospital through our Fill the Glass campaign.
The Festival has added several new events to the 2009 schedule and made the signature ones from year's past even better!
